Boiled Dumplings with Spicy Sichuan Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 package dumpling wrappers
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp Sichuan peppercorns
  • 1 tbsp chili oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground pork, garlic, ginger, and green onions. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Place a small amount of filling in each dumpling wrapper, fold and seal the edges.
  3. Boil a large pot of water and add the dumplings. Cook for 5-7 minutes until they float to the surface.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, Sichuan peppercorns, and chili oil for the sauce.
  5. Serve the boiled dumplings hot with the spicy Sichuan sauce.
