
Christmas Spiced Roast Duck

Ingredients
- 1 whole duck
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp five-spice powder
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Mix honey, soy sauce, five-spice powder, ginger, salt, and pepper in a bowl to make a marinade.
- Rub the marinade all over the duck, inside and out.
- Place the duck on a roasting tray and roast in the preheated oven for 2 to 2.5 hours, basting occasionally.
- Once the duck is cooked and crispy, remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before carving.
- Garnish with fresh herbs and serve hot.
