Pumpkin Pie

Delicious and classic Thanksgiving dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 9-inch unbaked pie crust
  • 1 can (15 ounces) pumpkin puree
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • Whipped cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt until smooth.
  3. Pour mixture into pie crust and bake for 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350°F (180°C) and continue baking for 35-40 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
  4. Let cool completely before serving. Top with whipped cream before serving.
