Sausage and Potato Casserole

A hearty and flavorful homestyle casserole made with sausages and potatoes.

Ingredients

  • 6 sausages
  • 4 potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese
  • 1 cup of chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and cook the sausages until browned. Remove and slice them.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until fragrant.
  4. Layer the sliced potatoes in a casserole dish, top with sausages, onion, and garlic mixture.
  5. In a bowl, mix chicken broth, milk, salt, and pepper. Pour over the casserole.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Uncover, sprinkle cheese, and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
