
Savory French Toast Casserole

Ingredients
- 1 loaf of French bread, cut into cubes
- 8 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup shredded gruyere cheese
- 1 cup diced ham
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, mustard, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Add bread cubes, cheese, ham, green onions, and garlic to the egg mixture. Stir to combine.
- Pour mixture into a greased baking dish and cover with foil. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Bake the casserole for 45-50 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden brown.
