Savory Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 large green cabbage
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Carefully remove the core from the cabbage and place the whole cabbage in the boiling water. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the leaves are soft enough to roll.
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic until browned. Add cooked rice, diced tomatoes, beef broth, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Carefully remove cabbage leaves and place a spoonful of the beef mixture in each leaf. Roll up tightly, tucking in the sides. Place rolls in a baking dish.
  4. Pour any remaining beef mixture over the cabbage rolls. Cover with foil and bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
  5. Serve the savory stuffed cabbage rolls hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
