Sous-Vide Steak

Tender and perfectly cooked steak using the sous-vide method. A foolproof way to achieve restaurant-quality results at home.

Ingredients

  • 2 beef steaks
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 sprigs of rosemary
  • 2 cloves of garlic, crushed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Season the steaks with salt and pepper.
  2. Place each steak in a separate sous-vide bag with a sprig of rosemary, crushed garlic, and olive oil.
  3. Seal the bags using a vacuum sealer.
  4. Cook in a sous-vide water bath at 130°F (54°C) for 2 hours.
  5. Remove the steaks from the bags and pat dry with paper towels.
  6. Heat a skillet over high heat and sear the steaks for 1 minute on each side.
  7. Let the steaks rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
