
Tacos de Carnitas
Delicious street food tacos filled with crispy pork carnitas.

Ingredients
- 2 lbs pork shoulder, cut into chunks
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Corn tortillas
- Chopped cilantro
- Salsa verde
- Lime wedges
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine pork, onion, garlic, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper. Add enough water to cover.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours until pork is tender.
- Remove pork from pot and shred with a fork.
- Heat a skillet over high heat and crisp up the shredded pork on all sides.
- Assemble tacos with pork, cilantro, salsa verde, and a squeeze of lime.
