
Thanksgiving Turkey Feast
A traditional Thanksgiving dinner featuring a succulent roasted turkey with all the classic sides.

Ingredients
- 1 whole turkey, giblets removed
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 onions, chopped
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon dried sage
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together the butter, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and carefully loosen the skin. Rub the butter mixture under the skin and over the top of the turkey.
- Stuff the cavity of the turkey with the onions and garlic.
- Pour the chicken broth into the bottom of the roasting pan.
- Cover the turkey with foil and roast for 3-4 hours, basting occasionally.
- Remove the foil and continue roasting until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let the turkey rest before carving and serving.
